Andy, with all your knowlege and connections, can you give me a clue as to where I might be able to find a set of GTW Bi-Centennial decals in HO ?
I have exhausted all possibilities on my end, and come up with nothing.
Thanks, Todd Cline.

Hi Todd,
Thanks for the confidence, but I'm afraid I'm striking out this time. I checked with Jim Hediger, and he recalled that Herald King had made a GTW bi-centennial set, but that company has been ou of business for several years. You can try to find a hobby shop that still has a set in stock, or put up a classified ad on this site offering to buy a set, but beyond that I'm out of suggestions.
Good luck,
Andy

Well Andy, that's pretty much where I ended up as well. (Dead end). But thanks so much for looking into the matter for me. You know, I was a 11 year old model railroader when the bi-centennial happened, and if I had just bought a couple of those decal sets back then, I'd have been all set. But after mowing lawns for extra money back then, all I was interested in was the local "Fannie Farmer" candy shop.....
I would certainly trade in some of my cavities for a set of those decals now. Ahhh, the ignorance of youth...
Todd Cline.

I know what you mean, I used to have a Tyco bicentenial locomotive (F-7) and caboose back then, that I wish I had held on to. I'm sure I could get a LOT for them today. SHIGH....

Thanks for the tip on the decals, I'll give them a try.
Do they have a website?

I do not know where you can get the decals but a friend of mine does custom paint work and
GT Bicentenial engine is one that he does in HO scale. If interested, email me at jkruszka02@comcast.net and I can put you in touch with him.
