Got an Paasche for Xmas. Bought a Campbell H compressor w/reg, added a inline filter and here is my first attempt at air brushing. I'm doing this on poster board before tackling the walls. Repainted the poster board 3 times before this result.

I used a photo as a "subject". I cut the train out of the photo and taped to the result to get a little perspective. I used Adobe to extend the land under the loco to the right and left.

Looks like she's trying to decide what to pounce on first, man!

I was suprised to that she didn't. Before I sat that box there, she was siting on the back of a couch nearby and would watch it go by. So I moved the box to where she was up higher and could see, and she stayed. The rest if the cats run like heck.

Btw, very good pictures everyone.

Tom, very nice mine and the location is excellent, the town looks to have grown around the mine rather than the reverse. Really GREAT!!

Tom, that's a beautiful job, with the town and the mine, and trees and roads, and everything. You are really good.

Great photos, everyone.
Brian--It looks as if you have a possible cabeese thief in traning there--if she needs lessons on how to properly pick one up and carry it off, I can put her in touch with Spooky, LOL!

Here's some photos of the Kentucky Mine that I just installed in Sierra City on my Yuba River Sub. And yes, Virginia, there really IS a Kentucky Mine, and there really IS a Sierra City, here in the mountains of California. The mine is a Grandt Line kit that is actually based on the original mine itself. Still have to put in the tramway and the shaft and some 'junk', but at least the building's installed.

Aww man, this should be a good one. I'll have pictures later up of my brother's newest train set, and probably some of my N scale.[:D]

Tim: You did a great job with the station.[tup] Is that HO scale?

Mike: You made me double take with that one, on first glance I thought it was real.[:D]

Tomkat: That's an awesome little scene. Do you have any others on your layout?

Some of you may remember the helix I was starting Thanksgiving weekend. Here are photos of progress up until about two days ago:

My friend Walt marking the semi-circles on the plywood:

The suspension frame in place against the ceiling:

As of about a week ago:

All the tiers except the bottom one are now installed in the section the other photos show, and I'm starting on the opposite end tonight.

These links takes you to some more info about this thing. I've named it "The behemoth helix."

Yeah, I know I'm nuts.

By the way - nice switcher, tomkat-13!
