I reluctantly need to consider selling my Rivarossi (#1254) Big Boy with tender. It is in excellent / mint condition. I would greatly appreciate advice regarding a fair price.

You will have to start out discounting off the Trainworld HO price in MR.

Those old HO Rivs, still new in the box carry a one year Walthers warranty.

Unfortunately, there are no tender pick-ups as in the HO Allegheny.

The most democratic trading is ebay. There is a Big Boy in the $90's with a day to go. I would guess that it will sell for around $120 to 150.

Trainworld has brand new ones with DCC decoder for $219.99 ; say $205 without a decoder. Challengers are $184.99.

You should be able to get between $100 and $150 for it.
