Hi Tom, I'll come back to You if Walthers don't remake the archive. I've also mailed them to do that..
NEW:
[xx(] My Intermountain problem. I try do say it as short as possible. It's meanwhile over two years ago. I got some RTR grain hoppers (HO gauge) from a Canadian dealer, but one of them was damaged. So I contacted the dealer and he made a contact to Intermountain. That seemed better than sending back from Germany to Canada, then to USA. The Intermountain crew said me it would be no problem, I could choose between getting new parts to repair myself, or sending the car direct to them to get a new one. As it was one of the limited Alberta blue cars, I wanted the parts and not geting a new one.
So I faxed the instruction with marking the parts I needed, then got no answer
I faxed again, somebody mentioned they would send the parts or so and again...nothing happened. So I waited weeks and months. One day I decided to copy all the emails and faxsheets, putted them together with the defect car and sended it all to Intermountain, in the hope to get some day a new or repaired car. Until now I didn't hear, read or get any other reaction from there.
Is that the usual service? I can't think this, because in the Canadian model group there were postings that told from an ok-service by Intermountain. Or is it because I'm living too far awy or so????[:(!]
