You can order a gauge from the NMRA http://www.rrhistorical.com/cgi/NMRA_Store_NonMembers/nmra-store.cgi?ORDER_ID=160889590&thispage=page3.html&ACTION=NEXT+PAGE these are carried by a lot of hobby stores. It can also check wheels, track gauge, clearances, etc.
Enjoy

track and car tool?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, November 10, 2005 4:53 AM
i could notresist railing up a few cars last night even though my layout is far away from actually running any train. i find now that some of my rolling stock seems to be out of kilter. ie: wont hook up and seem like maybe the wheel sets are out of alignment. maybe the trucks. im not sure yet

is there still any guages available for coupler height and such? i also want to find the N track guage. im not sure if ill be able to read either one with my sight but i thought id inquire about them. where i can get them both?

thanks much as always friends. John
