Can anyone send me information on scratchbuilding a passenger station?? I will accept information on any size station, although I would prefer to model one with 5-8 tracks, due to space. Modeling in O gauge. Prototype pictures, plans, suggestions needed.
Thanks!!

There was a good article in MR a few issues back about prototype passenger station operations. It would be worth a read.
I've built one subway station, and I'm working on another:
For the platform floor and tile walls, I bought a couple of sheets of Evergreen styrene. "Tile" and "Sidewalk", I think. Then I made molds from them with WS Latex, and made hydrocal castings. The castings have a much better-looking texture than the styrene, and the method is cheaper, too. Model Power makes a blister-pack of "iron fence" which is perfect for interior barriers.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

Thanks for posting the pics Beasley. After seeing your camera car I was anxious to see what you wanted to see from the operator's perspective. Great stuff.
