Built by the Grant locmotive works in 1881. Both were later reconfigured as convertional 4-4-0's.

I don't think it was Forney - that's the name of the dude who started that transportation museum in Denver (the one with Big Boy 4005).... Unless there happens to be a locomotive manufacturer of the same name [%-)]

It was designed to have a high pulling power without losing speed. It was a failure however being fast, yet weak.
