Seems to me the real engines use either 42 in or 44 in wheels.

Prototypical wheel sizes

I have been trying to find out what is the prototypical size wheel of the following locomotives: SD70M,C44-9w,AMD 103/P42. And is the difference noticable between 64 and 110 wheelsets
