I won't spend that kind of money on what they are offering now but then again I'm not interested in their current offerings at any price.

If they come out with some of the other models that we have seen from Overland in brass such as a well detailed GP40X with a high short hood (Southern) then I may pay as much as $200 since that is what it cost me to kitbash one.

But their is one problem. Their like well over $300.00 a unit. What I would like to know is. Are you Modelers out there gona spend that much just for one Model?
Allan.

The price includes sound and detail that will match the brass units if we can believe their intentions and advertising. Brian Marsh will bring to market a well detailed diesel model if you are willing to pay for it. It will be $50 higher than the latest Atlas 8-40CW model with sound, and it will sell since many people do not really model, they just buy and run the models.

A few years ago, many of the outstanding modelers would super detail their models and achieve this level of detail in a only few engines and cars. Today, almost anyone with a CC or checkbook can do the same without spending much time on the detailing of a model The availability of this type of model has caused a lot of us to lose interest in doing the detailing since it can be purchased with money. The HO market has changed in the last ten years and really changed since the introduction of sound installed in the latest models.

It is a great time in the industry if you have money to purchase what you want.

Only on a BLI Steamer would I spend that much. I'd rather spend that 300 on getting a DCC system

If they are making a Norfolk Southern one I would pay $150.00 to $200.00 max. If they are making a NS version then it will be an ES40DC.
