I personally, can't wait for N scale sound. Most of what I run is small steamers and I just don't have room for the speakers.

In case I didn't mention it. I love sound locomaotives. And I think if, you set the volume appropriately, you don't have to worry about competing noise.

Yes, Broadway Limited has a new brass division, as well as N scale and locomotives without sound. Conversely, Overland Models, which has been a brass importer for several years, is coming out with plastic models. Go figure.

Broadway Limited is calling their models without sound the "Stealth Series." Precision Craft Models is their new N scale line, which will use the LokSound system from Germany. They will also have HO scale engines under the PCM label that uses the LokSound instead of QSI.

Overland Models' plastic locomotives will be sold under the "Tower 55" brand name.

Atlas, Proto 2000, Bachmann, and Digitrax are entering the fray with sound-equipped locomotives.

Kato seems to be the only major manufacturer that isn't jumping on the bandwagon, and is likely to find themselves out in the cold if they don't do something.

Just a quick question regarding some new products and companies on the market.

Does BLI have a new subsidiary and if so why?

What Direction is BLI going?

enquiring minds want to know[:(!]
