Due to running Mozilla I can't see it, but judging by the descriptions it's unlikely to win many potential newbies to the hobby...

Have no idea what was on the website, but I had better things to do then spend ten minutes downloading whatever it was while I was being attacked by some dude in a railroad cap.

Welcome to the forum, doug! Hope you enjoy all the great talk and discussions on modeling. Tis discussion about the Atlas site is a tad off-topic, but even train company executives can have fun, heheheh.....Some one must have been really stretching to feel they had to put this spin on their web site.
I suppose that some of the younger folks would like it, and it may draw some families in to the hobby. Who knows.

This is my first post after reading some subjects when I can. I tried that web address and my computer replied with illegal operation, will be shut down, then my whole browser closed [:0] how fitting.

Trains stop at train stations, Subways stop at subway stations, On my desk I have a work station.

Is it possible that Hannah snuck out and did that video? I mean if you look, they both seem to like trains, can't be a coincedence (sp) You may be rolling in some dough when that video wins at the grammy's [;)]

Actually I thought it was no worse than what I see every time I turn on the Idiot Box (which is at least twice a month). By the way, I always liked the flip side of "They're Coming To Take Me Away".

Nope, on the original 45 (you old enough to know what a 45 was?) they played the song from back to front. I loved it! I don't recall hearing the flip side on the radio, but it was on the 45. The first time I heard it I laughed so hard I couldn't get my breath!

That's another record I'll have to find.[:D] I love looking for records, they're cheap.[:p]

I know this thread is getting way off topic, but..... If you are interested in the original with a real player copy of the song (especially those of you who weren't born yet) you can see and hear it here: http://it.stlawu.edu/~x0tsing/takeaway.htm

Enjoy!

That's classic all the way. I used to have that 45 as a kid, back then we never listened to the B side, what a mistake on my part.

Actually I thought it was no worse than what I see every time I turn on the Idiot Box (which is at least twice a month). By the way, I always liked the flip side of "They're Coming To Take Me Away". From the second or in this case first verse. Well it was the second on the first side but is the first on the second side ....... I think. (What was I talking about????)

No need! Absolutely uncalled-for!
