Doesn't sound like a reverse loop situation; however, did the horseshoe curve fool you in determining the "outside" rail for buss feeds when it came back in the oposite direction? The branch line is a reverse loop and does need to be isolated and have a reversing section incorporated into it. I don't see that that should inpact the mainline horseshoe curve in the manner you describe. but isolating the loop may cure the short, but you will probably still need to look at the buss feeds.

[:D]Ok Guys and Gals I have a question and I need a little help. I just finished My mountain pass that is a horseshoe curve, the mainline crosses a bridge to a part of the mainline that has been done for a while, the problem is I have a short right before the bridge, do I have a reversal loop that I don't see or do I have to do some track bus rewiring?? Because everything from the bridge back through the horseshoe loop to a canyon my polarity runs this> while the other side of the bridge it runs this<. Now I do have a branchline that runs off the main before you reach the horseshoe turn and meets the main again in the (oppsite direction) would that be the sorce of my trouble? Sorry about ramblin' on like this, But I need some MRxRding expert help. Thanks
