Thanks, Loathar. I thought you had given an intemperate reply, unusual for you. Inside joke it is...[:)]

I think you will find that most manufacturing plants do not allow cameras.... or firearms. Seems
to be the standard rule. Dave

Welcome back, Loathar.

Tracklayer, why the hostility?

No hostility intended selector. I meant it as an inside joke between Loathar and I, as in, Welche's doesn't allow cameras on their property - even if just for taking train pictures ?!, then I don't buy their product... Call it dark humor ([;)]).

Had to go do an install at the Welches grape juice plant in Erie Pa.(9 days)
They had 4 main lines, 2 branch lines and an old RR museum running right next to the plant. I saw more trains this past week than I think I have in the rest of my life.I saw more road names and types of loco's and rolling stock than any railfan could hope to see.1 or 2 trains every 15 minutes. Welches break room is on the second floor with huge windows over looking the whole thing.Bad thing is they don't allow cameras on the property and no one I was with cared about trains, so I couldn't get over to see the museum. (or the EMD
facility which was real close) Got to see one of those Amtrak double deckers
(FP59 ?).WOW!!! That is one awsome train! The museum had a shop that restored old passenger cars and locos. They run excersions out of there too.
Sorry I can't share any pics with you guys.[:(] At least I got my memories.
