Nice of you to drop in, Emeraldisle. You are right, though, everyone should have some roundedness to build skills, networks, and resources, and multiple interests does that quite nicely. Of course, so do the wife's needs and wishes.

Just thought I would drop in to say howdy to everyone and let you know what I've been doing the last few months, since taking a leave from the hobby. I think everyone should have 2 or 3 differant hobbies to pursue and for me the second most important is DIECAST COLLECTING and my latest aquisition is the GM4501 GREYHOUND SCENICRUISER from Corgi. I gotta tell ya, this company really turns out some beautiful collector pieces. I've also managed to tuck away a SEAGRAVES LATTER TRUCK, one of many really great Fire Trucks that Corgi puts out. One day, somewhere down the line, I'll come back to MRRing 100% but until the slump ends, I'm enjoying collecting Diecast and this does include 1/87th pieces from Athearn and Mini Metals so while I'm not directly involved in MRRing at this time, I'm never really too far from it either. I see alot of new members on here and that's good, keep up the forum and I'll pop in from time to time for a quick "HOWDY". Until next time, "EM"
