And shiny it was!

Bob, I think he did that as a courtesy to members with low-bandwidth connections who have to wait a long time for large graphics to download. And some of these are good-sized images.

BTW nice job uspscsx!

You are correct, Ken. Whenever I try to resize them, they beocome assorted shapes and variities. (Sp)

I am still drooling over that rust spot/streak along the vertical channel on the right. It's those small nuances that I think make or break a detail job.

I need to get my airbrush skills going, I did a test with grimy black and I was pretty pleased for that dirty look. I currently am using chalks and pastels (oil based) they both have their differences and benefits.

I am waiting for the Weathering Clinic to reappear[:D]

Like I mentioned above, this was all hand-done. I used a mixture of cement(Polly Scale), CSX Tan(Polly Scale), NS/Reefer White(Polly Scale), Grimy Black(Polly Scale), and CSX Gray(Polly Scale). To highlight some areas I used Rust(Polly Scale), and on the trucks I used mixtures of washes and drybrushing that included Steam Power Black(Polly Scale), Grimy Black(Polly Scale), and Rust(Polly Scale).

Thanks for the compliments, and good luck on your weathering!

This one is not for my personal collection...

Looks great.

My Newest Weathering Project: Not the best in the world, but it suits me!

Here is my latest project: A grimy Santa Fe 2 Bay Cement Hopper. It was from a Walthers kit. It was weathered to match several prototype photos I have. I even added a few particles of "rock" to simulate freshly spilled cement, as I have seen before on hoppers. This was all hand done. There are no less than 4 colors on the car. Now for the photos. The images are too big, and when I try to resize them things get all messed up, so here are the links.
