Ed, sorry for the late response. Just started a new job, traveling, etc. Anyway, here is my e-mail address: johnandsuep@aol.com. If you don't mind, send me your fax number and I will send you my complete track plan that should show you or whomever where I need to put the Atlas twin. Thanks.

John,

I am stuck in NC working this weekend. If you give me an e-mail address, I will write and let you know where you could fax it tomorrow. I could look it over and get back to you probably on Sunday.

Catch you later - Ed

Ed, excellant idea. I will do that. To whom should I fax this drawing to and what is the fax number?

Thanks

John,

I would need a track plan to figure it out. Unfortunately, I am leaving town tomorrow for ten days. I recommend you draw your track plan on a piece of paper and be ready to fax or sent it to someone who offers to help. Several modelers here could help you. If you don't get any volunteers (I'd be shocked) before the 18th, post again and I will tell you how to get it to me so I can help. Good Luck - Ed

Help with Atlas twin / reverse loop
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 6, 2003 3:49 PM
Hi all. Well, I got my trains running now but still have a hangup at one turnout because of a reverse loop. I bought an Atlas twin and have read books over and over until I know them by heart, but still can't get the polarity control I need. My problem is that I can't determine which is the "correct" main line and reversing loop, as dumb as that may sound.

My track makes several loops and comes back down on double tracks that connects into one, but I have tried to hook up the twin following the directions on the package and reading Andy Sperandeo's electrical book, but still my engine stalls at this one turn out. I have made my rail gaps as Andy insisted, but I am still stuck.

So...is there a way to determine which track (or tracks) I should connect the DPDT twin to? Your advice is most appreciated.
