New Kato Amtrak F40's Opinions?

Anybody have the new Kato HO scale F40's yet. Lacking a local hobby shop I am wondering if they have the usual excellent Kato running qualities and correct looks. I saw the MR review, they look excellent from the photos. I plan to add Richmond Controls strobe light circuit to get the roof strobes functional. Sound and DCC in the future someday.
