I believe someone suggested this before. Sounds like a good idea... if it works[:D].

I have a friend who's really good with sound systems. He'd like me to set up a system that would follow the train around the layout turning on the speaker as the train progress around the layout. His Idea would use train detectors and relays, but he has to do the math, and plan the thing. a lot rides on amplification and the number of speakers, how many ohms, ect. I'm glad he's doing the thinking... sounds like stereo instructions... Larry
