I have not done a point by point comparison but don't overlook the potential of the Bowser metal 4-8-4 as the basis for a "good enough" model of this attractive locomotive.

We're talking REAL locomotives here. 6325 is in the number series for non-streamlined 4-8-4 with a vanderbilt tender. (I've got a picture of 6319 in front of me.) Looks a lot like CN's 6100-6200 northerns, but a few detail differences.
Sorry, but I've no idea where to get one.

I am looking for a model of this class of locomotive. I assume that the only option is an old brass import. My question is, can anyone direct me to a possible source for this model?
I recall some models advertised in the 1970's, but at that time, I was a youngster mowing lawns for spending money. (most of it went towards Athearn boxcars, and chocolate!).
Any leads would be most appreciated.
