Anyone Decoderize an MDC Climax?

Nope, but it cant be any harder than decoderizing and Ernst-ifying an old Athearn Hustler to make it run both smoothly and DCCably.

Pop the lid and put in a DZ123 or some similar tiny decoder and have fun :-)

I'd look up the MR issue for you, but mine are all in the hands of a collector now. The MR online magazine search engine might help you tho.

I like that word. Saves a bit of typing.

Anyway, you done did it? Not that I have been able to find one in the area I'm modeling, but I took one in trade alst night. I always thought they were kind of cute. Also, if you know the MR issue where they lowered the boiler...
