A couple of years ago a review in MR casually mentioned that if you use Walthers Goo to glue weights in a closed airtight car such as a tank car or box car that does not have doors that open you need to drill a small hole to let the gas escape. I had used Goo for years and thought that was overkill as advice. Well ... I have now had a model develop an actual bulge due to the operation of Goo Gas! Just as you can smell Goo for some time after applying it, so to does it release its gases, evidently.
