Originally posted by Virginian I didn't vote because I think that should be totally up to Aggro. But, let me say I think he does as fine a job as I have ever seen. [/quote Ditto. Writing is very hard work. I would not want to pressure anyone into a project like that. Aggro was kind enough to post his weathering method for us. We should not push him into something he that he may have no intrest or desire to do. Writing though could be a good career move if he likes it. J.R. Reply Anonymous Member sinceApril 2003 305,205 posts Posted by Anonymous on Monday, June 13, 2005 5:59 PM Aggro's weathering technique is one of the best I've ever seen. If he feels like writing about that and his other scenery techniques, that is his choice. I, for one, am grateful for his posts and photos here. Inspiring, to say the least! Reply nickinwestwales Member sinceApril 2005 901 posts Posted by nickinwestwales on Monday, June 13, 2005 5:54 PM Would love to see not only a how-to article on the weathering ( I swear I can SMELL the rust on those loco wheels ) but also the layout on which they all live.-We`ve seen the trees, can`t imagine the rest would be of a lesser standard. If "yer man" is not comfortable with writing an article,I`m sure the M.R. team could assist-it`s part of what they`re there for. As to the Nom-de-Plume,protection against jealousy crazed 3rd raters such as myself.....? keep it up aggro, you`re raising the bar for us all, regards, nick Reply SpaceMouse Member sinceDecember 2004 From: Rimrock, Arizona 11,251 posts Posted by SpaceMouse on Monday, June 13, 2005 5:36 PM Writing a polished article is hard work. I would not put that on anyone who did not have that in mind to begin with. Once again, other would have been nice in the poll. Or only if he wants to. Your article would be a big hit with everyone who needs pointers and explanations of how to weather a hard working steam locomotive.
