YIKES ! ! that's a little bit scary, just what is it supposed to be? Could it be a N&S #34 Research unit??? a joke! a joke!

It is no longer a slug. The N&W built it into a slug from a wreck SD35, for use in heavy yard service. It is now a track geometry measurement device. Note the exhaust for a small diesel engine and the fuel tank.

What type of diesel is this [?] besides ,SLUG, and NS #34.
