C&O RSD-12s #6700-6709 were renumbered to C&O #2007-2016. The 2007-2016 were transferred to B&O ownership on 8-9/69. B&O either traded or sold the units in the first quarter of 1972. The RSD-12 story on the B&O is a short one. See X2200 South Issue 33 for more details.[8D]

B&O's RSD-12s were originally C&O's. I'll find a reference on this and report back.

Checking some rosters suggests that B&O stopped buying Alco road power after the FA-2 cab units. They seem to have stuck to EMD in later purchases.

Did B&O actually have any of these?

Years ago, I bought an Atlas B&O RSD12. Now, years later, I wonder if B&O actually had any RSD12s or RS11s. I have several books about the B&O and I can not find any evidence that B&O actually had any RSD 12s or RS11s. Model railroad manufacturers don't always follow the prototype.
