In 1996 the UP was also running the extensive C&NW fleet of SD40-2s

Thanks everyone who gave input on the SD 40-2 question! Thanks a lot all of you.

The only thing I am concerned with is the fact that I model UP in 1996. I think (I am Not Sure) that at that stage the UP was not bumping the SD40-2 off into yard duty! I know thier are lot of loco's also to be modeled for this period and I have got a few of the new ones as well, SD90-43MAC"S, C44-9W's and the like. But i really love the SD40-2 and would like even just a small fleet of them, just to keep things prototypical. I was looking extensively at ATHEANS newly revised version, and agree that it is a heck of a lot better that their earlier attempt. I did not know that they had upgraded the mechanism as well (thanks for the heads up!!).

See you later!!
