Though not a UP modeler, I plan on having a pair of HO UP SD40-2s in my roster.

Though I am no fan of Union Pacific's current leadership, I have a great deal of admiration for this railroads past accomplishments and contributions to railroading and history in general. That's the UP that I will always have a place in my heart for!

Peace, out.

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

7 years ago there wasn't much available in UP selection so I freelanced.
Today, especially with greater selection, the fact that UP maintains
steamers, E units and passenger cars, Up is a predominant road.

Always nice to enjoy the Pentrex UP collections.

The Club layout I was in was loosely based on the UP but more freelanced western line.

UP in the steam era is a great line to model, I have the Bowser challengers and BigBoy, if I had more room, I would model it, but I am modeling more the eastern lines. If I can squeeze in some UP, I will.
