How realistic are Athearn plastic handrails?

I like the new handrails.They look realistic but are very thin and easy to break if not carefull.Other than that I dont think you will be disappointed.Dan

How realistic are Athearn's plastic handrails? it seems to me they would not last longer than the metal ones previously used. i may buy one of their "topeka cab" undecorated CF7's if my saginaw michigan hobby shop is able to get one from horizon hobbies. my hobby shop i go to tells me that getting stuff from horizon is hard to do
