Remember to the thank the soldiers coming home. They haven't had all the comforts of the continental US for a long while, and they've all put their lives on hold, and on the line, for the duration of their deployment. Whatever your political preference, and your opinion of our involvement in the Arab world, the Armed Forces of the United States deserve our appreciation.

My family just got home from Armed Forces Day celebrations at our local Army base. Today was the first time the base has had a public open house since 9/11. We all had a great time handling all the equipment and weapons, checking out the insides of all our combat vehicles, the Rangers made an airborne attack, car crushing tanks, etc etc etc.

But don't forget, today we say thanks to all those people down in those hell-holes fighting the fight for us.

God Bless the American Soldier, and God Bless America.
