Hi folks.
I'm using Photobucket.com, and as you can see in the first message, I have been successful in posting a picture. However, it's very small and the original is not. How do I do the zooming thing? Is that available for Photobucket or do I have to switch to shutterfly?
I appreciate your replies.
Trevor

To be able to enlarge photos, they must be a bigger size on Photobucket. I resize mine to 800 wide, and this seems to work OK.
Keep in mind if your images uploaded to Photobucket are larger than 250MB, they will be reduced in half automatically. So photos should be 800DPI wide and less than 250 MB.
Here's one of mine:

I just looked at the properties of the picture you posted and used the link to go to the orginal. The picture shown here is the same size as the original. Did you by chance link to the thumbnail instead of the picture?

Nothing there but the dreaded red X. You can Preview your reply before you submit it, although the enlarging won't work.

Trevor - congrats, glad you found an image hosting service that actually works!
I recently got myself a railimages account and put a few photos there - but I've noticed that I can't 'embed' my images here the way I can with the ones on my web site. So I always end up having to place a copy on the web site server [trainweb.org] instead.[banghead]
The only way I have ever been able to view the pics I uploaded to railimages is by going directly to that site and viewing the entire album.[tdn] Otherwise all I get is a "forbidden" error message.
