Road vehicle pictures & info.
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 5:38 AM
I am modelling the early years of the BN and have been using G.Elwoods Fallen Flags website as a research tool. Is there a similar website[s] which would provide pictures and information on road vehicles for that era,[ early 70's ]. The layout currently being worked on, is based on a freelanced connection between ex-CB&Q/IHB in the Chicago area, thanks in anticipation, Dave Elbourne, Rugby, England.

Hi If you are after trucks for that era try
Promotex Canada and use link to 1/87 vehicle club & use links to other sources of vehicles. I just used Truck Stop Models to souce trucks and trailers of that era with great success

Thanks Les,
I have tried the various search engines and cannot find a url for Promotex Canada, it may be that my isp's security blocks are stopping it, or I'm not using the correct search criteria. If you have the url, I'd love to try it, sorry to be a pain,
