Courtesy of Con-Cor.
.....................................

The HO Pioneer Zephyr is finished and in final production, the lst
container is due to leave Hong Kong about May 25th, which means we will
be shipping by the end of June or early July depending on when the
shipment arrives to our warehouse.

You can see photos of the finished Zephyr at:

........................................

We have received the lst test shots of most of the molds from the
"N" Zephyr, so they will be just a few months behind the HO Zephyr's

There were going to try to make the North Shore electroliner, but backed out due to lack of money, instead now they have the Pioneer Zephyr, kinda similar in style, but a mainline railroad model.

New Electroliner in HO is being made by Sunset Models, which I have on order.

600 bucks, oh well..

Electoliners on Ebay are going over that, but the Sunset will be DCC ready with sound and fully painted with interior, a great choice!

Better get them quick. They (ConCor) are still shutting down in less than two years.

Two years isn't the problem. It's the 30 day warranty that I'm not confortable with considering it's a new product with a limited Company track record.

OK. I'm missing something. Why is ConCor shutting down in two years?
If you ain't having fun, you're not doing it right and if you are having fun, don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong.

On both the web site and in print ads Con-Cor has been indicating that "the boss" is planning to retire in 2 years. I think that the Pioneer Zephyr was being described as a swansong of sorts.

Concor is not closing in 2 years. I called and asked. I was told the boss is semi retiring and that there is no plans to close. I read the ads and I didn't see anything that said they were closing. Gee the rumors have been flying for years and if you listen to them they have been closed the last 10 years...........so whats up ? They are very much open......
