In The Summer
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 8:41 PM
Late last spring I remember coming home ready to log onto the forums and found the message saying they were down for maitenence till august. I was very sad.
So I expect this happens every year now I don't want to be caught off guard.
Do you guys goto a different website forum or do you just take a break from the copmuter to work on your layouts?

Well, this forum was down about 2 weeks ago. Lasted less than a day.

Hopefully, when a maintenance/upgrade is necessary, Bergie will notify us. Pretty much, the thing to do is work on our locomotives, cars, or layout and check once in a while. [:D][8D][;)][:o)]

That was the Atlas forum, I believe. I don't recall these being down for any significant amount of time.

Joe -

EVERYBODY had to re-register once the Atlas forum (with new software) came back up.

Did you try that ????

If so, did you try to register on the "old" version of the forum ??
Some computers "like" that one better !!!

Back to the topic - the Atlas forum is the only one I know of that shuts down over the summer - Paul and Rob deserve SOME vacation time !!!
