Fed Ex just delivered my 2-6-0 brass kit I have been seeking for the last two years. My LHS
put me in touch with a custom painter who had one unsold and unopened. Though based on a Canadian prototype, with some redetailing its a dead match for a SP M class in S scale. Thought I share the good news.
SP the way it was in S scale

Congrats! [8D]

That is the sort of little victory that makes the waiting worthwhile.

Congrats!!!! Now of course we'll have to see a pic of it when it's finished!!

I've often wondered what the UPS guy thinks when I answer the door and practically snatch the box out of his hands all the while giggling like a 5 year old? Am I the only one that does this?
If you ain't having fun, you're not doing it right and if you are having fun, don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong.

Ain't it a great feeling to have ANY package come addressed to you? Did you know what it was, or that it was on the way, Dave? You must have been turning blue by today!

Good for you. May it bring you many moments of pleasure, both in the construction, and during the playing that will surely follow.

P.S.- Just got my BLI J1 back from them, all fixed, and ready to rumble, with a turnaround of exactly three weeks. Not bad, hmm?

Good for you man. It's always a good feeling when you finally score a victory in these pursuits.
What could have happened.... did.

Yes. I can relate 2 the snatching the package from the UPS guy with a huge smile! I often annoy the UPS guy at my work cause he has the delivery route near my house and delivered my last couple of packages. He was getting tired of seeing me twice a day and annoying him when my packages were going to arrive!

P.s. This also goes with the Postal Worker!

Nah, I've got my UPS guy trained, now--he just kind of stands outside the door with a slightly frightened look on his face and whispers, "It's not another Yellowstone, is it?" before he takes off like a jack-rabbit (must have been the bear-hug I gave him when he delivered the last one).
