Walthers 130' Turntable Power Source

I'm just now installing the turntable. I called Walthers to ask what they recommended for a power source since the instructions seemed quite specific. They said they 'weren't sure but any power pack should do.'
I run on DCC and don't a lot of power packs sitting. My question is to those who are successfully operating this turntable. What are you using and how did you set it up?

I use an old Varny power pack because I like the reverse lever and the knob. Any HO/N scale power pack will work. Just two wires from the varible voltage side connected to the motor. Or you can wire in an inexpensive mobile decoder to the motor as you would a locomotive. Be sure to check on the stall current before choose a decoder. The TT will have its own address.
