I'm considering purchasing a BLI RSD15 in the not too distant future, but am somewhat leary based on feedback over the SD-40...
Anyone care to post a review of their unit? Plusses, minuses, etc.
Thanks,
Kevin

Do a search on something like "BLI RSD" and see what pops up. I know there was some discussion about it in the last 2 weeks or so, but I didn't follow it. Seems to me there were some people either with them or had friends with them chiming in.

Comments I have seen regarding the PRR version are that it has the wrong fuel tank, horn and no induction radio antennas. Can't comment on other roads.

The BLI RSD15 has nothing in common with the SD40-2. It is the complete opposite. I have 4 of them, and I am very pleased with them. The Bessemer models look and operate fantastic. Go to your local dealer and look them over, i think you will be happy with what you see.

The RSD 15 is a winner. I got one and it is quite impressive. Have not expirienced any problems and in my opinion it is prototype for the B&LE. It runs very sooth, programmed easily and the sounds are great. I'm also impressed with the little ward that you can use to lower the sound.

I have two of them in PRR (8614, 8615) and they are very nice. I am quite pleased with the quality, and they run extremely well. The sound effects are nice and authentic of the ALCO engine. If you are considering one, I wouldn't wait too long, I think BLI will be out of stock on these before long.
