There is a company in carson City NV that makes an Athearn car with a battery operated sound system. The name is Altec or something like that. i think that they have a web-site. they also make some pretty good track cleaning cars.

I think it was in Railroad Model Craftsman.
I bought all the bits but never got it assembled.

I am looking for an article on making sound system for mechanical reefers.It was printed I believe in Model Railroader at least ten years ago.Anyone remember this article or a newer one??
