yeah it is raining here.. they have some flood warnings out... good day to be in the basement... going to concentrate just on painting the backdrop today and some cleaning up...... think it is going to rain all day & night here...

Hi Mike,

I can relate to spring triggering outside work. Our lot is 1.3 acres, so unless I want it to start looking like a wheat field, the lawn mower becomes the primary locomotive.

Sometime in late January, I start prioritizing railroad projects and noting what I would like to get done by the time the grass starts growing. With a very minor exception, the Bunter Ridge is on schedule. My goal at the end of the "building season" (winter) is to not leave any project "in progress" over the summer. My goal in the warmer weather is to get to a good point to start my late fall building frenzy.

It's rainy here today, so it could be a good day to pick a minor project and start, such as the minor exception noted above.

But, to answer your question, everyone here in Purcellville, VA and on the Bunter Ridge RR is well, although Bunter (the dog and CEO) has been grouchy lately.

Just wanted to see how everyone is doing & how things & their layouts are coming. Think it has been only a few weeks since I have posted, but it seems alot longer. [;)]

I feel like I have run out of things to ask!!!!![:p]

Actually once the warm weather hit, it was time for some outside stuff to get done. Which was good, because i think I was rushing alittle lbit on the layout & needed to take a few step back. I also had some road/mental blocks on the layout. But my method to my madness is to get all the summer projects done NOW!!!!!![:o)] Guess what three of them are already done!!! So I am way ahead of schedule!!!

Hoping to get my DCC soon, but stuck between Lenz or Digitrax. Was going to go MRC, but I want to have wireless throttles. Hoping to get the paintshop going soon, so I can get back to painting some Housatonic engines. Been doing alot of railfanning of that lien &have taken some cool pics.
