I know under the table is better looking then the motor being on top. So I got #65 turnout motor from atlas it come with the linkage you need.

There was a letter from a reader published in the January 1984 Model Railroader describing how to mount N scale Atlas switch machines below track level. Although I haven't tried it, the process looks simple.

Atlas makes an under-the-table switch machine that works well with HO and N atlas turnouts. The machine is made for HO, but you can shorten the linkage and widen the "nail hole" in the ties to make it fit for N. I've done this in N on both the old-type machines, which have the bulky slide mechanism in a case, as well as the newer versions. On the old switches, I simply cutoff the slide mechanism, then drill a hole through the table top so the linkage can be attached to the center bar that holds the rails on the turnout. It's a pretty simple process; the hardest part is mounting the under-table piece so that the linkage properly throws the switch. Hope this helps.

I would like to mount my above table atlas turnouts under the table.I know you need some kind of linkage made from thin wire.Is there any articles written on this subject?
