Thanks Colin, I'll let Buckeye Riveter know that you liked it so much you posted a topic over here.

The truth is that two weeks from today, the Coffee Shop over here on the MR forum will be celebrating it's first birthday. I wi***here was someone willing to do one for this group as well, but the topic is so much larger, it may be impossible. I have a feeling that Buck has been planning ahead and capturing the photos for quite some time now. It really was a fun retrospective of the year passed.

It shows a rather close-knit and social group of guys that love toy trains. That is an aspect of this hobby often overlooked by many, but really it's just another way to have fun with trains, by sharing with your friends.[^]

I agree BB. The social side is part of the pleasure for me. Whether it is visiting someone else's layout, hosting visitors at my own or at the model club, the sharing of a common interest is very rewarding. I believe that is a reason this forum is popular. We can share our interest here and although our contact is virtual, you are all real people. I have not made many postings on this site but have been more active on a site on the Irish side of the pond, understandably as the members here are modelling the same railroads as myself.
