Does or Did anyone ever make a DEW car ?, preferably in "N" Also at a Show I saw an Oscar Meyer Wienermobile. I was too cheap and didn't buy it, Now I wish I did. Do you know who made it ? I've seen a HO "Oscar Meyer" boxcar made by Mehano for sale on ebay.co.uk - other brands to search under include IHC and Model Power as these two offered repackaged Mehano products. Hope this helps!

Dave,
IIRC, the Weinermobile was a promotion handout from the Oscar Meyer company. You might try a Google search or visit the Oscar Meyer site or a collectibles site on the Web. Was the one you saw HO or N scale ?

Bob said "Was the one you saw HO or N scale ?" It was in "N" and very cool. It was $18.00 and I was in a cheap mood. That'll teach me. It was at York, PA Meet in the Fall. Dave

Mountain Dew box cars - appear to be O gauge

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.
