Instead of using one word subjects in your postings, why not spend a few more seconds making them a lot more clear. This thread "Peco" could be about dozens of things in the Peco line, many different scales, gauges, etc.
Why not "Peco uncouplers - work with rapido couplers?" This would allow those who may know something about the subject to see, read and hopefully respond. A lot better than "Peco".
The same with your thread "Power". This could be anything - track power, house power, steam power, diesel power, etc. Make things easier for other readers and you may attract more answers.

I don't believe the Rapido couplers were designed to be uncoupled.

Yes, these are their rapido uncouplers
Unfortunately they're not very good - I had a couple of them (excuse awful pun) on my old N scale layout and never got them to work reliably except with their own couplers - Peco use a rapido-type coupler that doesn't have a spring (it's designed to drop to horizontal under its own weight, so to uncouple them you just have to lift it), but when you attempt to use the uncouplers with sprung couplers they either don't lift at all or the stock is lifted clear of the rails. I have seen it suggested that you use their magnetic uncoupler (and the glue-on metal arms that it activates), and bend the arm in such a way that the spring isn't necessary, though I've not tried this. Hope this helps!

Hi
Are the peco decouplers (the pack with 6) designed to decouple rapido couplers?
I think they are technically called Peco SL330. A Pack of six is au$3.50.
Thanks
