Take a look a this picture and please explain something to me.
Was the front coupler on the E6 "retractable" or was it removed
when not in use.

In the picture you can clearly see the pilot doors opened, with the coupler
pretruding from the inside. Thanks, Dave

Retractable when not in use
SP the way it was in S scale
