Overland Brass Locomotives

I have contacted Overland and just received their reply. They said it is a Canon Japanese motor and they can't sell them seperately. I've looked for this motor in the Walthers HO catalog and they don't carry them. I tried to find it on the web, but was unsuccessful. Does anyone know how I can get info on this motor? Any suggestions?

Does anyone know what brand of motor is in HO scale Overland Brass Locos and if you can buy them seperately without having to buy the whole locomotive? I have one OVL locomotive and eventually I hope to buy a second OVL loco, but I can't afford to shell out another $600-$800 right now. Until then, I would like to power a Rail Power shell/chassis to run behind my current OVL loco. I would greatly appreciate the info! Thanks.
