on most of the SP loco's I see out here.... West Colton yard in So Cali Fontana area they just renumber them with the standard armour yellow number boards.... I have seen several dozen of these done out in this area... Blood noses with Speed lettering and Roman lettering.
I hope this helps.

Hey, I live in Upland. Ive been to the Colton yard a few times, it has some crazy curves at the east end under the overpass and freeway! Thanks, I know I have to just put the yellow under the cab and use red numbering, are the colors Armour yellow for the underneath part of the numbers. What color are the numbers and in what font? Thanks, I love going to the San Bernardino A yard. I love BNSF and ATSF! SP and UP are ok, there second on my rr! Cya, Ben

I'm not sure of the color and font of the numbers.... but I'm sure that with a little investigation into fonts you could easily find something that looks very similar.... it's all standard UP fond and colors for the number boards.... just remember that they are located under the windows. Once again I'm not exactly sure of the colors and all so I just hope this helps out a little..... maybe try sending an email to UP and ask them.
