How do you post pics on the new topics and on the replies.

We need a FAQ section on the forum. This has to be one of the most often asked questions. On the other hand, it's nice that people want to post photos. Okay, here goes step one.

You need to get an account set up at a photo hosting website. You can't actually upload directly from your computer to the forum. A lot of us use www.railimages.com. (Another site is www.photobucket.com.) It's free although they accept donations. Go there (or another site of your choosing), follow the instructions, and set up your account. They say they usually activate your account within 24 hours, it's usually much sooner. Once your account is activated, follow the instructions there and upload a couple of photos.

Then report back here and we'll go through step two, linking from your photo hosting website to the forum.

There is Ed but it's not at all clear or detailed. It took me some time to figure it out.
It should be under "How can I use smilies and imiges?" but it's not.
There's just a tid-bit of information at the very bottom of "Can I change the format of my text"
