DONT give me the he haw right a way,one of the guy's that run on our large layout,bought a box of lionel track & the corners were built ( LAYED)on a slant ( lol )not kidding,did lionel ever bulit track corners that was not level ???like if the engine had large drive wheel's on one side & smaller drive wheel's on the other maybe i need to take (picture).like a hi-banked race tracki dont know how else to explain,the metal ties have lionel stamp on them,now u, can give me the "HE-HAW">>>>>>>>>> aka hub

The tracks sounds superelevated which real railroads did and do on high speed curves. I suspect a Lionel inquiry like this would get more response on a toy train part of the forum site.

I have now found out that these are stright section of lionel track that are raised on one side.............AKA HUB
