Southeastern Prototype Models

Has anybody been able to contact them in the past few weeks. I have noticed that their website is down, and I was wondering if they have gone out of business or something?

Thanks,
Sean

Amtrk14,

Just out of curiosity. What railroads do you model or are are a fan of? I just joined an SCL modelers Yahoo group.

It's good to see that after so many years that railroads from the south finally got respect status-wise from the 90s onward.

I remember back in the 70s most modelers I met were into New York Central, Pennsy, Santa Fe, Union Pacific, and some of the other "well known" names. [4:-)]

It seemed that guys that modeled the Seaboard Coast Line, ACL, SAL, Southern, L&N, Georgia Central, etc were often looked down upon. I still remember the snickers from modelers I'd talk to when I told them I was interested in SCL!
So glad we've come a long way! [:D][;)]

Cheers!

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"
