It appears so. Use the advanced search feature and search for SD70ACE in the Trains Railroad forum. There might have been something in the news wire about purchases.

The CSXT has alot of them. The MRL has them on order and the UP is in the works of getting theirs very quickly. As a matter of fact from what I understand there are a few SD70ACe Locomotives on the UP right "NOW"!

Union Pacific usually always gets what new out. I am sure they will have alot in time. And as for anyone modeling them the one company I know that is making them for $900 is Overland Models. I saw a very nice looking one at the Springfield train show and when she told me the price I almost fell out. I guess I will not be modeling that engine for along time till Athearn, or Kato starts producing them

Typan,

CSX has roughly 15 ex Conrail SD80MACs (there are no SD80Ms). I don't believe CSX has any SD90MACs, SD9043MACs or SD90MAC-Hs.

The CSXT & NS are the "ONLY" Eastern Railroads that own the EMD SD80MAC Locomotive that where split up from the Conrail era. Also,The UP & CP are the one's who own the EMD SD90MAC's. The UP also own's the EMD SD90MAC-H2. BNSFrailfan.

Matt,
The Kansas City Southern has announced that the railroad is ordering (30) locomotives this year. Montana Rail Link (16), Union Pacific (115), Norfolk Southern (52) SD70M-2 have already placed orders, and the CSX currently has 20 units.

Best regards,

KCS is buying the rest of TFM, not the other way around. TFM will be no more, wholly owned and operated by KCS.
