You might want to consider the coupler extension arms that MDC produced. They were relatively cheap @ 3 pr for about $2. Includes bolsters if needed. I've used several of them w/no problems on 28-30" curves

I will try and explain something to you.
First off, I'm lucky because I don't need the 454 bracket and Jay-Bee mounting pads but there
are lots of modelers out there that do.
So when they discover there's a way to fix a lemon and they order or trip down to their LHS,
get it home, open up the package, they soon discover Oops.
The instructions call for a #52 bit and they better have a pin vise too.

So?, share with us your passenger expertise.

He was just pointing out a good way to make your passenger cars run better by giving them longer shanks.

I went out and bot a pack just to see what's all involed.
Enough parts for one car but according to the instructions in order to use the
0-80 x 3/8 screw & 0-80 nut, you have to use a #52 (.063) drill bit, cost a buck

Should you just want to use the threaded screw only, then you need a KD #780 Tap & Drill Kit for drilling & taping, probably around $6.00
