I've got a Snow Flake (SP slang for the Bicents) U25B in S scale. Now, If I happen upon a Overland T2 i'll be 75% complete.
SP the way it was in S scale

Joe,This is how I break down Athearn.I hope this helps you to understand Athearn products.
1.Genesis.The top of the Athearn line.
2.The newer RTR.These will include the SD50,SD60,CF7 and the SD45T-2...The 5344,5747s and the newer cars that WAS NOT available as BB kits.
3.Blue Box RTR.That includes the former BB Kits including the cars. The BB RTR locos has the new drive shafts and scale handrails but lack the grabs just like the BB kit.
4.Then of course there is the standard BB kits.
So we can no longer just say Genesis or BB..Now we need to seperate the differant Athearn products into their proper group.[;)]
For the good old simple days of Athearn.[:D]
